Tricks and Treats!
Today is Whip It Up Wednesday on the Pebbles blog. For today's post, I created Halloween treat containers using recycled clamshell packaging, the Tricks and Treats 6 X 6 paper pad and stickers, and some ribbon.
Full disclosure: I purchased candy corn for the sole purpose of staging these photos. Really. No other reason why I would purchase candy corn. ;)
Be sure to check out the Pebbles blog for directions and for a project from a fellow talented design team member!

A Bit of a Sad Farewell
The 2012-2013 design team list went up today on the Bella Blvd blog. Huge congratulations to all those listed!
You may have noticed that my name is not on there. I made the hard decision a few weeks ago not to reapply for the team. I've taken on some new responsibilities, both at work and in the scrapping world, and I had to let something go in order to regain a modicum of sanity. I've had a great year working with Bella Blvd products and created some of my most favorite layouts ever as part of my design team work. As a tribute to my year on the team and to Stephanie's fun and colorful products, I will share my top five Bella Blvd layouts from the last year here today:
My term on the team isn't officially up until the end of this month, so you'll see a little bit more of me on the Bella Blvd blog before the end of September, and I will most definitely still be using Bella Blvd products in the months and years to come!

October Afternoon Midway Blog Hop
Welcome to the third stop on the October Afternoon Midway Blog Hop! Today we are celebrating this fun new October Afternoon collection! Midway is full of bright colors and mixes lots of carnival/amusement park-themed products with great basic patterns. It's perfect for several different themes (carnival, amusement park, birthday, baby, beach, etc.) and would also make for great everyday projects. Here's a peek at the Collection Kit to give you a sense of what Midway is all about:

I've had a chance to play with Midway and created this layout using patterned paper, a journaling card, chipboard, and brads:
It wouldn't be a blog hop without a giveaway now, would it? :) Please leave a comment below to be entered to win a set of Midway buttons.
After you've left a comment here, be sure to continue on your way on the blog hop. There's a prize at each stop along the way, and, at the end, you can leave a comment on the October Afternoon blog to be entered to win a Midway Collection kit. Winners will be announced next week.

What are you waiting for? Go hop! :)

It's Official!
Today is my official introduction on the Pebbles blog. We were asked to create a project that was representative of our style and this is what I came up with:
This layout includes my three signature elements:
It also includes two things I've been doing a lot of lately:
![]() |
| Cardstock: American Crafts + Patterned Paper: Pebbles + Dimensional Flowers: Pebbles + Die Cutting Machine: Silhouette + Fonts: Pacfico, AL Uncle Charles |
This layout includes my three signature elements:
- White space? Check.
- Bright colors against a neutral background? Check.
- Touch of whimsy? Check. (In case you were wondering: flower as dot on "i.")
It also includes two things I've been doing a lot of lately:
- Title die cut from patterned paper with my Silhouette CAMEO
- Journaling printed on 12" X 12" cardstock with my wide-format printer
