About Me

About ten years ago I realized the pile of photos of my son wasn't going to stop growing. I googled "scrapbooking," found the Two Peas in a Bucket website, and the rest is history. In the spring of 2006 I became serious about submitting my work for publication. Since then my work has been published by Better Homes & Gardens' Scrapbooks Etc., Cards, Create, Creating Keepsakes, F & W Media, Paper Crafts, Scrapbook and Cards Today, Scrapbook Trends, and Simply Handmade. My biggest scrapping accomplishment to date has been being named a 2007 Creating Keepsakes Hall of Fame winner. My page designs usually feature clean lines, bold titles, and bright colors. I love to scrap about a variety of topics, and enjoy making pages that are serious, funny, and everywhere in between. When I'm not scrapping I can usually be found consulting for my local school district, hanging out with my husband and my two kids (ages 10 and 13), or paying attention to my other hobby: cooking.
