"I have spots!" and then "I'm Baby Jaguar and I approve this message."
Yeah...the political ads are a little nuts here in ye olde swing state (okay, so it's not really a swing state anymore, but it was until recently).

Shhh...Don't Tell Anyone...I Tried Digi!
Yup. Microsoft Picture It (someday I might buy Photoshop Elements), Laura Ping's Sun*Dance kit from Polka Dot Potato, and a little perseverance. Don't worry, I still prefer paper by a long shot, but this was fun!

Looking for Greenland
It's 8:45 pm. I just went to check on the kids, and Eli is up, with his light on, poring over the index in his atlas looking for Greenland. :)
Hey! A New Post!
Yup. Really. I'm alive. I still don't know how to work full time and do it all, so I don't. This blog has been on the "don't" list for a while now. Happily, however, scrapping has not. I've been cranking out the pages. I'll share a few here.
The weekend before last we went to the fall festival. Said festival led to three layouts, two of which I'll share here (the photo I took of the third one came out pretty crappy - maybe I'll post it later):

(Yes, that's me on stilts. Seth somehow managed to catch the .01 second that I kept my balance.)

And yes, I am addicted to my Fiskars star punches. It was bad when I had one, but now that I have two different sizes and can layer them...let's just say you'll be seeing a lot of this look from me. ;)
I'll be back later this week to share more layouts. I promise! I have a zillion that haven't been posted here, or anywhere, for that matter!
In other scrappy news word on the street is that I will have the new October Afternoon lines in hand by week's end. Guess what I'll be doing this weekend? :)

Reading Can Be Hazardous To Your Health
Eli has gotten into reading in a big way. I mean BIG. Yesterday he was beyond miffed that Ms. Ball had somehow misplaced his Scholastic book order. Today, she found it, and from the moment I picked him up his nose was stuck in his new Clone Wars book. He read in the car the whole way from his school to Sadie's school (he clearly did not get my motion sickness gene) and insisted on bringing the book in with him when we got out of the car to go get her. As we were walking to her classroom I heard a thud behind me and there was Eli, who, nose in his book, had totally missed the three-foot-high stack of cots taking up half the hallway. Yup. Who knew reading could be hazardous to your health? :)
