News: I've had a couple of people check in with us from afar regarding the Colorado floods. We are okay where we are. Most of the severe flooding is either north, northwest,or east of here. We are within the Denver city limits and in an area that is on higher ground and nowhere near a creek or other water source. There were some lower-lying areas about a mile or two from here that were affected, but it's nothing like what's happening further out. Where we are we've had all of the rain, but nothing destructive.
Old + New: Today's challenge on the October Afternoon blog is to combine a newer line with the oldest line you have. When Roree sent me this challenge I was thrilled, as my home serves as an unofficial archive of all things October Afternoon as I have products from every single collection they have ever released. I just got the brand-new Daily Flash Milk Money line and had fun combining that with products from October Afternoon's first release (County Fair, 2007), their second release (Detours, 2008), and another older release (Report Card).
