You know those emails you get that warn you that you will get cancer if you eat food that has been microwaved in plastic, or that if you use your cell phone while filling your car with gas you will explode? Please, please, please check them out at Snopes before you forward them on to me (or anyone else). Please.
Thank you.

LOL, I have finally trained my peeps to not forward me most of that stuff, and I try to snopes it first, but MK has had to deal with a few I didn't...
yeah, snopes rocks!
B-
I KNOW, right? I use HoaxBusters, but just CHECK THEM OUT, people. Seriously.
(Ask Houston about her latest forward from her MIL! Ha.)
A. MEN. Sistah. Amen. Preach it!!
Can I cut and paste that to my MIL?
wait okay last night on the nbc evening news with that cute guy, so cute I can't think of his name right now, they reported a study that says you really don't need to drink 8 glasses of water a day, but just drink when you're thirsty. then he said something like "further proving our theory that if you wait long enough, whatever you like to do will be proven to be good for you."
now I'm going to try to find a link to it or youtube or something. it was that funny I bet it's out there.
I have more to say on your blog-post, though. a friend of tom's has turned radical republican since 9/11 and sends out 10-20 forwards a day, many of them rather offensive to this lefty. I finally wrote him and asked him to please take me off his mailing list. he wrote back and asked why. diplomatically I said because I get too much email. then he called tom and asked why, and tom told him the truth (damn him anyway). he kept calling to argue with tom, his reason being this: she's from a rich family, how are they not republicans. (huh??? is that crazy or what?) now I think he's mad at us.
sorry, epic answer.
excellent PSA Viv!
darn, i have a whole collection i was just getting ready to send to you. ;)
But I swear to you, he really is the anti-christ. Snopes can't prove otherwise.
