A few weeks ago I purchased two tickets to see Stomp tonight. I was supposed to take Eli, who I knew would love it. I was so looking forward to our special date night and to seeing that look kids get on their face when they experience something new for the first time.
Alas, flu season had other plans. Here I sit, with every joint in my body aching (and that's while on Advil, folks!), while Seth is out at Stomp with Eli.
I'm insanely jealous.

Oh Viv, I am so sorry. I hope that Eli had a good time and that Seth remembered to get a few photos.
oh sweetie. i'm so sorry. that is the worst! that sounds like it would have been incredible. your kids are lucky. even if they have a sick mommy. i was getting sympathetic flu symptoms a couple of days ago when you told me about your's. i don't think i have the flu or a cold really. i hope you get better soon.
