It was a whirlwind day of cupcakes at school, swimming, cupcakes at home, and presents. Looks like my mom hit it out of the park with the Hogwarts Lego set.
At bedtime, however, Eli got a little teary-eyed and told me he didn't want to grow up; he said he wants to be my little boy forever. I told him that he will always be my little boy, no matter how old he is. That didn't alleviate his stress, but he did finally breathe a sigh of relief when I informed him that just because you're a grownup you don't have to stop playing with Legos. :)
